I have paid that 1000 baht barfine in that particular bar in Tiger on a few occasions. Last time was about 2 weeks ago. Said LBFM is 100% worth it and I will continue to pay that bar fine for her ( plus a well "over the top" LT rate) when I want a totally debauched night and next day with a sex-crazed energiser bunny that totally wipes me out for the next 2 days. Money very well spent in my world and I have a cracker of a time and that is all that matters at the end of the day isnt it? I only do it for that one particular BG and dont do it every night( I couldnt keep the pace up with her for more than 2 nights straight with her). She actually offers to meet me after she finishes work or to wait until 1.00am to get a reduced bar fine but I actually like a small business owner who says "f8ck it" and runs his own race instead of worrying about what other strugglers who try to please everyone while they manage to make bugger all to live on are doing so I have no qualms about paying what really is a paltry sum of money.

Works for me anyway and when I think of some of the 100's of starfish I have had in 24 years of mongering and see some of the monsters cleverly disguised as BG's that guys rent for the night it makes even more sense.

That higher bar fine was not aimed at the customer but at the staff to stop them taking too many days off (by paying their own bar fine).

The two thousand baht barfine for New Years Eve Go gos in Pattaya was said to be another example of this - Purpose: to "make" staff come to work. We should not forget the thai work ethic h:
