I love the relaxed atmosphere at Zona Blue (only sessioned there a couple of times), BUT I have to say that those rooms on the first floor right as you enter are the absolute worst. Could they be any skankier! Definitely has an adverse effect on the total experience...

Seems to me that the owners have a great opportunity to make it a lot more people friendly...tear down a few walls, make that bar room a little more comfortable...get an interior designer to spruce up those rooms and the place could easily jump to the next level. IMHO.

Count me in as "Totally Agreed." I've always had very positive experiences at Zona Blue. However, the whole experience could be raised to an even finer level by updating the rooms. If the girls are a 10, the rooms are a 1.5. Now that they've made their hotel rooms nice, it is time to go downstairs and make some needed improvements to the rooms. And, by the way, why are these places afraid of a double bed! That would also make the experience considerably enhanced. New Fantasy seems to understand this concept. Now it is time for Zona Blue to reset the standard.

From what I understand there is already plans to expand the Zona Blue and add about 12 new rooms to the hotel and increase the bar space but I dont know what effect if any this will have on the hourly rooms downstairs...

The only problem I have with the rooms are the sheets not staying on the bed and the floors feeling kind of dirty. They should at least add a couple towels to the mix.

Never had, nor will have this issue...

every time I have sessioned, when NOT staying with them... (maybe about 5 or 6 times) I have done doubles, or trips, so I always get the room with the big bed...

But from now on, all my sessions (AND THERE WILL BE LOTS OF THEM) will be in the comfort of my own king size bed, upstairs...

There is also, what feels like a lot of wasted space in the entrance area. Seems to me like with a bit of space planning, some thoughtful amenities, some tables to sit at, better lighting, MUCH nicer rooms, cleaner communal men's room on the first floor...that ZB could flourish as a destination. There is so much good there, but rarely have I been in an environment that so worked against the goal of the business. I'll definitely be going back, but NF is better in those respects, not much, but better.

As a business person, feeling the decline of the DelRey...I see a new era owned by MP's that offer a fun, convivial, attractive, clean safe atmosphere where you want to relax, maybe watch some impromptu strip shows, mingle, buy chicas drinks, play pool, grab a sandwich, whatever...instead of feeling like you are in a holding pen. The future here belongs to the creative. I deeply feel this.

Great staff, Hot girls, Massage, Steam, Sauna, Shower in rooms, Rooms seemed aways clean to me. Good price. Thats all I need, but then again I not very fussy about much. 8) Although I do agree with Tica Fan about the Sheets.

Been though that sheet coming off the mattress thing several times.It's a small thing but can be aggravating.Should be an easy fix you would think.

I think the rooms at ZB are pretty good for a 3th world country. Now the rooms at Bar Monaco are the worst which is why if I have to pay more than 15K for a 1/2 hr I`m walking. If the rooms at ZB bother you ,I don`t think you will be happy at any of the MPs. IMHO

The little rooms at Pantera Rosa are worse than Bar Monaco. Those two places would get alot more gringo bizz if they spent a few bucks making the rooms nicer

You serious? I have never did a session in Pantera Rosa but they must be really bad if you are telling me Monaco's rooms are better.

Zona Blue has the best accomodations of any MP in Costa Rica. Showers in each room, sauna, steam, nice bar, cigar room, hot chicas....what the hell do you want......all for $42. New Fantasy is not even in the same league. I agree about the sheets but never has been a problem.
