Hate it when I order a spirit and only get one, or, two cubes.
Don't they know that ice is dirt cheap and the more they put in, the bigger the drink looks?
A lesson that KFC and McDonalds learnt years ago.

Not exactly true. yes if it was after midnight or whenever the shop closed but if you took her out before it closed you would have had to pay the shop 300 to 500 baht.

You hit the nail on the head there pal, never quite happy enough are we. It doesnt get much better than drinkin in a bar in LOS, but we all still have to complain. Id like to retract my first gripe...

My bad, you're right. The first day i met this girl, i had a massage with her at 9.30 and finished around 11.30, so she told me to pass by in half an hour when the shop is closed. In subsequent days, she was paying 400 baht every day to be able not to go to work. I will write more about this on my first trip report as soon as i am back from a short trip to Budapest.

yep same same here.... I hate it when they ask.... I dont mind buying lady drink as long as the girl is nice and im having a laugh with her... I usually dont give them a chance to ask but whe their friend or the mama ask for a drink i get a little anoyed!!!!!

I guess they are trying to make a living but they should try a different approach....

so lets say a lady drink is 150bht..and the bar fine is 300bht. That means the girl is already BF'd doesn't it? And what happens if you buy 3 drinks? You going to expect the bar to give you 150bht to take the girl away??!

I think i would prefer if they were being misers with the ice rather than the liquor to be honest. 1 or 2 cubes at a time keeps a drink plenty cool.

What's some of your best idea's to get out of paying for LD's
i'll be there in 2 weeks and i dont mind buying mates a drink, but if there sittin on there bums all day asking for drinks i just can't see myself saying ok. Brett............. and i'm no cheap charlie either..
