it is right on the water and still being built/carved..for the next 15 years.

There was a tour option to go in a speed boat to view the Sanctuary, but it was pricey which makes sense as fast boats burn fuel quick.

Took these shots in Lumpini park, Bangkok, in June this year. Just after I took them all 1.5 metres of this hungry looking fella crawled out of the water and started sizing up the sleeping thai guy for dinner (more likely a snack from his carry bag).

I yelled out "hey buddy, wake up", he slept on. I summoned up my best thai "BPLUK" (wake up). And he turned to face me. I pointed behind him and he turned to see this fella a metre away eyeballing him. I suspect he shit his pants.
