The beach on Dawsey's picture is between Nai Harn and Phromthep Cape

His picture is from before the Tsunami that's propably why you not recognise this beach Yanui Beach :: Phuket.as

The sealed road to Nui Beach goes all the way down to the Beach, but that is a dirt road. I have been down there one time in High season with a Suzuki jeep, well I don't think going down there in the rainy season is a good idea.

Yep, Laem Sing and one of the beaches I mentioned in some thread somewhere, that on seeing on my return to Thailand from wherever I've been feel that I am almost home and sleeping in my own bed.......with someone.

First big bar/restaurant you hit on the beach (There's only two IIRC anyway!) - If you take the path down there is 'Kamala Ali's' place and if you see him tell him - "Denver wants to know where his bike insurance is!"

Nice place to pootle along to in low season when you can almost have the place to yourself and catch up with a bit of thinking.
