vtct portfolio, i.h.m

hello all,
first of all, thank you very much for your support during my i.h.m training.
I have passed my written exams, practical and health and safety but I wonder now we have to present our portfolio with all the evidence to vtct assesors.
we will get it back with our diploma,hopefully!!!the booklet to fill is a bit tricky as well.( vtct booklet, to fiil and tick the evidence)
is there any chance we fail if the portfolio is not full of the evidence they would like to see???anybody knows about this.??

Do you mean cross referencing, if so, your tutor should go through all this with you x well done on passing

hi i am doing the ihm and nearly at the end of it 3 weeks to go just putting the finshing bits and bobs
all my folders case studies ect will have to be sent away will we get them back and all the case study is confildently who will look at them how long? will it take to come back? what letters can i put after my name ?ithe IHM is vtct level 3 diploma and can we do clinets now and charge for the service
how much do or can we charge sorry for all these questions buy if anyone can help it would be nice thankyou valerie

I can use the letters IIHHT after my name. I charge £20 for IHM. Not sure how long it will take to get your folders back, but my tutor had them marked ready for me to collect for the next week of college.

P.S When I qualified in Aromatherapy, end of June, my folder was chosen to be checked by the External Verifier and was ready to collect at the end of the July.

my folder has been checked by the external verifier as wellon the 17th of this month but we was told last week that all the folders will have to be sent away for the final check i passes the heath and saftey by75% but now have to make it to 100% which i think is unfair
i am doing this course throw the W.E.A.and the VTCT is running it
i have been told that it could take up to 8 weeks befor the tutor gets the diplomas back and then a couple of weeks after that i will get it .
so does that mean i cannot work till i have it back i am very confized about every thing at the moment at 53 doing this course i found it hard
still i have passed now just have to wait and see

If you are worried then wait for the final check before working on paying clients, as soon as I was told I passed I started to mildly advertise, mainly massage and reflexology tho Good luck x

thankyou the W..E.A is the woman eduction it a charity base that get workers back to work it was supposed to be for woman but more and more man are going to them
the course is run by vtct or it them setting the course work etc and it was them you done my folder a couple of weeks ago valerie
