In Tijuana it's all about the bribe, so you'll have a very low probability of ever seeing the judge, as the TJ cops don't make money that way. Only the idiots or the people without money end up seeing the judge.( One of my friends gets throwed in jail every so often, and my bother-in-law when he was younger ended up in jail, and then somehow paid a bribe after he was in jail......but like I said, idiots)

I would not worry too much about being caught with naked photos of the chicas, because for one thing.....taking naked photos is very hard to do.....most chicas will tell you no, or you'll be to scared to ask them to spread their legs while you take a picture. Getting the chicas to allow photos of them with their cloths on is easier to get and a lot of the girls will allow that.

Now if a TJ cop tries to shake you down over a picture of a fully clothed girl, tell them to get fucked, but say it nicely.

As you can see, "propale la pornografيa" is mentioned there. That means that if you are caught with pictures you go to the judge.
Of course the judge will let you go free, but not before checking you out for being part of an international net of child pornography, human trafficking.. the whole lot.

What ever happens at the clubs or behind close doors is another thing. If you are stopped at the streets with that kind of material... well, just try your luck sir.

Well Escierto, you can get the bribe real low cause the cop can get into trouble in Monterrey if he is caught trying to get money out of you.
You've been to Monterrey, you know everything is different there.
You know that cops here can be on the losing side instead of the robber side.
They can't really call a tow truck (as they alway threaten to do) and they can't call the police cause they'll have witnesses against them.

Same thing happened to me in Monterrey. He thought he found an easy mark when he saw those Texas plates. Boy was he wrong. The Mexicana I was with chewed his ass out and kept up a running diatribe to all the pedestrians passing by as to what a poor specimen of a police officer he was and how people like him were responsible for Mexico having a bad image in the eyes of gringos. Fireballs, I totally agree with your comments about being too eager to bribe cops and the situation you described. If stopped on foot I would not pay a bribe under any circumstances, I would be happy to let them search me and give me a little ride.

However I thought the points made in the article were a bit weak. If you run a light or commit another infraction while driving, I think bribes can be quite cost effective. The first time I ran a stop sign down there I insisted on a ticket, even though they did tell me it would be cheaper to pay it at the scene, I ended up going to the station a week later and paying over $200! Since then I've had 2 other infractions and settled them both on the spot with a $20 bribe.

I haven't had a ticket in months, I think my TJ radar is improving, but I know in each case the cops were fishing for bribes. The article talks about doing the "right thing" but the fact is three out of three times I've been nailed while driving bribes were expected.

I've been stopped many times on foot and have never been threatened or paid a cent, although someone new to TJ might be scared at what is a normal procedure there.

Sorry to hear about your friend, life can end too quickly for these girls.

Here is a picture of my little Mexican Indian Princess called Krishna. I'm sorry to say that Krishna is no longer with us as she died a tragic death in a head on collision as a passenger in the streets of Tijuana about a year ago.I kept telling myself if I only took upstairs the day before she died she would still be alive.

I first saw Krishna in the Miami bar about a year and a half ago, it was her second day of work. She was in a dance contest, and Krishna just lit up the room with her friendliness and smile. She captured the crowds heart during the dance contest, but only came in second place, as the fix was in that a fat girl won. I said to myself I just had to have Krishna, but she was with another local guy, so I left the bar and came back later and sure enough Krishna wasn't busy, so I called her over and brought her a drink. She was just so friendly, and fun to be with. I could just tell she never been upstairs before as she didn't have a puta bone in her body, as it was like talking to a popular cheerleader back home when I was a lot younger, she really was the Mexican girl next door, but I also found out she had a little baby back home, so I knew there was a chance I could get her upstairs. After a few drinks I asked her if she went upstairs, and she said, she doesn't do that, making me want her even more, in fact I just had to have her. ( I have waiters that give me the lowdown on new girls, and she was in fact new to Tijuana)

So we just sat there talking, and I asked her again, how I really want to take her upstairs, because she is so beautiful and really doesn't belong in this bar. Oh no, not my little Indian princess, pulling down her G-String for a couple of dollars. Later I hear more reports, that Krishna, was getting fat,drinking so many buckets of beers. Thank God Krishna still had that nice friendly smile, as I walked by her and waved, and she waved back, as she was with another customer.

Later I get an email from a guy who also dated Krishna outside the club and really liked her, that she DIED, she had a auto accident. Wow, I felt really bad, and really I didn't know her that well. But Krishna was a really special person, if you even spent 5 minutes with her, and it was one reason why I was getting all these PMs on her, as those guys really liked her too.

It's really a tragic life some of these girls lead, even if Krishna didn't die, I bet she would have been out of the business within a few years, maybe also get involved with drugs or something else. I'm just happy I was with her for those few times, and got to know her a little bit.

Amigomio, I only talking about Tijuana here. I'm sure it's different in Monterrey, I never been to Monterrey, but I heard it's nice and a rich industrial city, and I'm sure Gringos aren't running around loose looking for pussy, like they are doing in Tijuana. I know I was visiting Cabo San Lucas last year for a week, and I think I only saw one or two cops all week! So every place is a little different, most better than TJ, and I bet even some worst in terms of police problems.
