Arrived with Gamlingman, Grinder, Don Papi, and myself about 10:30 Saturday evening. Place is as a remember it with Hazel now behind the bar ex HDR bartender. A big hug I have not seen her in many years. Ken the owner said hello and we were the only guys in the place what a shame. At least 10 gals with the majority of them very doable. 2 Of them stood out for me. Andie a tall dark haired version of Kelly Lebrock and Shayla who from what I'm told is the queen of the roost an absolute knock out.

Drinks were reasonably priced beer cold, and nice large screen TV's for sports and whatnot. A few drinks as well as buying the ladies a few drinks yes they get a commission so what I'm there to have a few drinks and be entertained. Rooms upstairs outstanding $50.00 includes a lady. I took Andie. 10K up sell for BBBJ, but an overall very very nice experience. Shayla would have been my choice if not for being malled by Gman. LOL.

Bottom line this is HLH of the nighttime action and a dam shame this place does not get more play as I certainly enjoyed everything about it. Friendly gals, a few cocktails, rooms on premise a decent liquor pour and a old friend behind the bar Hazel. For me my new hangout for some nighttime action.

Dan I don't believe there is any conver charge except the night of the Ladies show (Friday) at which time its 1K. We were not there Friday but Ken the owner indicated there were about 30 guys mostly CRT "Expats" and locals there last week a good turnout.

I have no idea if Hazel worked at NY Bar. She is kinda short cute blondish medium hair excellent english. I know she used to Bartend and waitress at the HDR, especially near the poker room.

i think the location is definitely a factor since its down the street from my apartment and most people have no clue where it is.
the other thing is disjointed hours of operation. i pass by all hours and different days and its hit and miss.
plus its really dark on that street at night. the surrounding area has little to no life beyond a few dankly lit tico bars.

You are right about dis-jointed hours of business. 3 of us decided to go on Sunday night - I know this is a dead night in SJ but still I would expect a place with good reviews would be open then - but no such luck !!!
Finally had to settle for the HDR/KL on Sunday night.
