Review: Theraputic ONLY - Jady, Big Feet

As I stated in another thread, I was in desperate need of a good therapeutic massage. I got a few good recommendations, but one stood out above the rest.

It was a PM received stating that if I could take an incredibly hard massage I would love Jady (you say it J.D.) at Big Feet. There's a Big Feet in Richmond and one in Vancouver, she happened to be at the Richmond one that day. Last four digits of Richmond location is 0665, Vancouver is 6080. Google is your friend.

I was told in the PM that I would hate him for recommending her while I was getting the massage, but the next day I would love him. I decided that this was in fact, a challenge, and went ahead and booked with Jady the next day. I will say it's a bit hard to book someone specific, as a couple of the phone people do not speak a single word of English. Took me 2 tries to get them to pass the phone to someone who did. Booked an appointment for 9:30pm.

As far as what was said in the PM? Definitely true. I'd say that massage was more painful than uterine surgery, less painful than stomach surgery and worth every single second and every single penny.

Do not expect a relaxing, soothing massage. You will be extremely distressed if that's what you go in thinking you're going to get.

The Good
-55 minutes of full body massage with someone who really knew what they were doing
-She is very friendly and warm
-Her broken English was very cute
-Woke up without intense shoulder pain for the first time in over 2 months

The Bad
-Even though the pain was well worth it, it was still pain
-Hard to book appointment with someone specific due to language barrier
-She took a few phone calls, however it's worth noting that the massage did not suffer at all as a result

Now, if you're one of those people who thinks your masseuse needs to look like a supermodel, Jady is not for you. However, it's worth noting she has very cute feet, as that's pretty much what I looked at for 40 minutes. She's a 40something plump Asian lady with a great attitude who is good at her job.

There is not one single iota of a chance that this massage could ever turn into anything more than therapeutic. I do not care if you are Rico Suave himself. This massage is not going to end in any kind of happy ending, other than an extreme feeling of euphoria because of how amazingly therapeutic it was.

L - Doesn't matter because you're staring at her feet 90% of the time (I'd give them an 8), but I'd say a 5 overall
A - 9
S - 10

Damage: 38 dollars (tax included) for 55 minutes. I tipped her 12 bucks for a total of $50.

Recommend: Absolutely, though like I said, if looks matter to you don't bother. And no happy ending.

Repeat: Regularly, once I'm back in town. I will never see another masseuse again.

But, Missy, I always got a happy ending from J.D.

By that I mean I was happy when she was finished and the pain would stop.

But, the next few days after one of her massages your body thanks you.

As for her looks, I see her not as plump, but more like a Mark McGwire type, pumped up on steriods. She gets her strength from somewhere.
