I forget to add on saying the 4K LT is for agogo girls in Phuket.. If U pick one up at HLW, I will say the price will still be 2K LT and U have more choices in HLW ard 1-2am.

I will say girls in Phuket are prettier and can speak better English. The girls in BKK was like older, fatter and I cant communicate more than 5 English lines with them.. I had to bar hop like 3-4 bars then I could arrow in on one.

Gee - the idea is (at least from my perspective), is that if any girl accepts the 1k offer. she gets the 1k (collected in a pot by the participants), and she doesn't have to do anything. its just hers, like just a prize for being the girl who isn't a greedy b1tch. the 2k+ girls who rejected the 1k will essentially be the ones losing out, as the girl who accepts the 1k gets the 1k for free, and if someone wants to take her LT, they will then have to pay the usual 1.5k/2k over and above the 1k she's already got as a present for winning.

There is no going rate.
There are many factors that affect a girl's pricing on a given night...does she like you, is her month going well, has she already had a short-time that night, is she in the mood, is she getting attention from other guys, etc.
The girls don't always back down from high prices...if you want her, you gotta pay.
If a guy is old, fat and ugly he may have to pay an "inconvenience fee" on top of what a handsome, fit, young guy would pay!

But really, I don't know you of course, but maybe it's your approach. No DO NOT treat them like objects - they're people with feelings! They get enough assholes coming into the bars as it is, don't be another one mate You're better than that surely.

I dunno, have a think about what you do when you walk into that bar. You're not just there to pick up a bit of stuff for the night are you surely - I mean, you can do that at home : You're there on vacation and there for some fun and a laugh, and some beers etc with some great and flattering company. Have a laugh with a girl you find you're getting on with, reciprocate if she gives you her hand and cuddle up, make jokes and make it obvious you're getting on without "how much for LT" crap - yes it's effective and to the point, but - well, bit clinical - ok many of them (not all btw, some really don't do that, or they might be as simple as on their period or something and are just working the bar) sleep with men they meet for money, but there's different approaches. Make it obvious you like her and she will soon (especially in the current climate with few punters) ask if you want to BF her.

If she comes out with 4000 or doesn't seem interested - just move on elsewhere. There's other bars besides on Bangla by the way, maybe seek out these.

If all else fails and you really need a bit of attention - there's always massage places hehe.

Not too sure of the prices now, But i do know they go up over High Season but not sure what to. But to answer your question about would she know if he is german, I was sitting with the GF and a few of her friends in October and they were sitting there picking out people nationalities. I know they can pick an Aussie a mile away. The accent is a big give-away but i have had girls come up to me and say "You Aussie?" before i would even talk, found out the Thongs (flip-flop) are a dead give-away - Although one Thai Man asked me if I was French.... Well I tried Minder's advice last night on a stunner who spoke zero english and got a ST for 1000. (I had to wake up early to go scuba diving).
So I've been making adjustments in the game! I've been finding it fun.
I think i have enough experience to get LT for 1000 to 1500...so i'm down to the average going rate...whoopee..

Next up, how about Ago-go bars? Should i expect to pay a bit more for those? I've been avoiding them (except that one time in Suzy Wongs which they ate me up alive lol...)

Also any advice on LDs? I really dislike about how i should treat the whole group to LDs, i'm fine with a few, but not 5-10....so usually i ask people what's my name and when they forget I usually say, "you don't like me, so no drink" ...with a smile.

In fact, i was at this bar drinking with this older lady whom i had no interest in and got her a drink because she was actually cool and chill...letting me drinking and watching some TV and play connect 4.

I didn't find that at all, I guess it depends which places you visit. I was increasingly frustrated by the poor English of the girls at Patong Beach. whereas in Bangkok I never had that problem, plus I met a few absolute stunners.

At Patong, I found the best ones worked in massage parlours. Sure, there were a number of older ones there, but if you really look you can find some real honeys, and I think because they are used to giving massage, they look after you better. Also, I find a lot of girls in bars in Patong prefer not to do LT because they make more money conning you out of ladydrinks, and they want 2,000baht or more for ST, which is just ridiculous.

In one bar in Soi Eric, I was lured into a bar by a very pretty girl, bought her a few ladydrinks at exaggerated prices, and then later found her sitting with another guy who had also bought her a drink. She pretended it was a friend, but I know that wasn't the case.

In Bangkok, I've been really lucky to meet a few girls who are gorgeous, not looking for me to "take care of them", not looking to rip me off, and only want to see me when I'm back in Bangkok. This to me is a perfect arrangement. Nope, give me Bangkok over Patong any day of the week.
