If you are concerned about the prices, you need to remember the amount is a small amount to us but to them a lot. 1000Bht is around $US30 but to a Thai person that is equivalent to thousands of dollars. I calculated it as around $4500 but that is a very subjective thing.

Why would you want to stay in BKK for 10 days? Ok the nightlife is great but what will you do during daytime?
Best place I know in BKK where you will find a lot of beauties, but mostly with their Thai boyfriend if they do not work as model, dancer or hostess (those are even more stunning) is "The Forte RCA" in RCA, Soi Sunvijai, Rama 9. I don't think FL's come there, and the girls working there are looking for a long time contract, wife or mia noi, so difficult for tourists. Easiest to go are the hostesses.

i think you can meet the type of ladies you are talking about
pretty much anywhere in los for example if you decide to go down to phuket
as you have heard already there are loads of bg's in patong but the place i
would try is phuket town if you want to meet a thai lady who earns money
outside of bars and gogo bars,having said this it sometimes takes some time
to win them over but it's a challenge anyway!

another thing i will say is that i agree with the guys that said most thai girls

But hea, you can look for local disco club (no tourist,no farangs ) and you can problably find decent looking girls. I'm reading this board for a couple of month n it gave me some very good advices for my recent trip to Phuket (August 05)...well well just let me try to contribute to this thread by posting a short story which happened to me:

I am 24 yrs old, was working in singapore for 6 month and finished my Asian experience with a short trip to Phuket (which I will never forget ). My first objective was to find a non-working TG and get laid for free, just to make a fool of all those guys who claimed that this is not possible.

So I was out n about with my Party-Buddy, went 2 Tiger n all those other places around Patong and I really got the thing goin'. Had some very nice dances at Tiger and already turned a caucasian dive-instructor down (guess she was from LA) because I had to get a "local" non-working TG.

Finally I met a very beautiful one, came, saw, conquered. Or to say it in a different way: Just after a nice lil chitchat I found myself on the backseat of her motorbike, rite on my way to her apartment and ready for some serious action. All the time I thought: Yeah, she is local, she is not professional, she never mentioned any payment, it's just sex, u made it!"
Well on the next morning (after a damn hot nite) she called her neighbour to bring me home in his TukTuk (for free also, but I gave him the normal amount for this ride).
My buddy also managed to bang a real estate girl, whose farang BF was away and left her lone in his apartment...bad mistake if u ask me ...

So we both did it! And now comes the key point: After reading through this forum I really feel bad that I didn't went out for shopping or dinner with my girl on the next day...maybe she was non working, maybe she was, but liked me or whatever, but I never felt that bad after banging a Singaporean or European girl, and now I'm starting to understand why: Because these )Sing or Europ) girls have everything, even if they are considered "poor" in their homecountry...but the TG in Phuket ARE poor and they still manage to live happy and to give u a great time...I will NEVER be such an a**hole again and just bang without givin' a buck. For myself I can say: Lesson learned, I will appreciate the girls more next time I'm comin down to LOS (which will be next yr July), but I will never answer to any "Gimme money" mail..because that goes way to far in my opinion

guys, I'm surprised how cynical some of you are! Is it so hard to get a normal (good) TG to go out with a farang?

It's not really! (Asian women are very curious, I am also one of them-I should know!)

For starters, the general rule in most asian countries is to hang out in higher end/posh night spots which are popular with the locals (meaning couples, university party spots, hang out spots for young professionals after work etc). Look for a group of girls. Based on how they dress and how forward they are, you can also guess if they are working girls or not.

I've heard about young university girls that are game for a toss in the hay but beware that most 'good' asian girls dont have sex 'just for fun' because they expect something like sincerity/responsibility/love (take your pick) in return.
