Why do I have a hunch that the revenue streams from local Chinese MPs-- Happy Feet, “New Amp on Williams,” and maybe the Northshore place—flow through the hands of the powerful Chinese clan that has been a major player in JP for decades? Name rhymes with famous Southern general in the Civil War. That would account for these places opening up but generally not crossing the legal limit on HE’s. If anyone can run the public records, see what you can find on property titles and lease databases for JP.

I agree Catlicker, It's so funny to me that we spend a lot of time and energy discussing these sudospas on something that we are not going to get. Not even a hand job. Jefferson Parish will shut these places down so fast that one day their there, one day their not. I remember the days when you could go to Fat City and get all you wanted from the Amps that dotted the neighborhood. They started out as just do it yourself happy endings then progressed to the same thing we have on the Chef. I had a LOT of great times there and everything was full service. Then something happened and they were all gone one day.
If I'm going to spend $80 on a massage I'll go to a Chiropractor and get my back cracked. Then I'll go to the Chef and fuck my ass off.

Perhaps the AMPs at fat city refused to pay off some influential politician, or maybe their owner(s) has a fight with the Jefferson Parish political lair, and that led to their extinction.

As I recall, some of the locals wanted the Fat City Spas closed down, so JP began to make arrests on a charge called, "Prostitution by Massage". It seems like overnight, they were all closed and never re-opened.
