Natural Health - 401 and Hurontario

using less than good judgement I stopped at Natural Health the other day. It is in a strip plaza just east of #10 beside the Holiday Inn. The place was locked up so I turned to leave. The sound of me trying the door must have woken them up and the blinds moved indicating there was someone inside. Now I had very low expectations going in and I am happy to report I was not disappointed. There were two oriental ladies and it was clear it was not my place to select one over the other.

The idea of extras was never on my mind just a good massage. What I got was baby oil splashed on as if you were spraying lighter fluid on a BBQ.

A so so massage for about 10 minutes before the flip. At this point when I asked for more on the back and legs and butt - well that was when the attitude started. I said no thank you.

I was offered a shower but declined when I saw it was a pig pen and the hot towel was thin and warm.

As I was getting changed there was a lot of loud conversation between the two mpa's but it was not in English. No doubt they were not happy with me.

The MPA told me business was slow. I wonder why?

When I came out the other girl was checking her investments on the computer.

... that there are operators in this business that are indeed in the wrong line of work. How peversely ironic that these dolts offer a crappy massage in an unhygienic environment yet complain that business is slow. Oh, boo-hoo! Are they blind or insane or a combination of the two? (By the way, poor customer service transcends the massage parlour business, and the best way to deal with this issue is to boycott the establishment.)

It was once much better than it is today, I am sorry to say. After four years of going to this MP, I had a bad session in mid-June and decided not to continue to go there any more, or at least for a while. Some day, I hope they will turn the situation around. The girl at the computer was the manager, who was known for RMT quality massages when I first started to go there. She seems to have suffered 'burn-out', IMHO.

Ah well, off to newer and, hopefully better establishments.......

The thing is, talk about a problem easily and cheaply solved. Go to Costco and get bulk cleansing agents along with some new towels. Then spend a few minutes each day cleaning. And presto: no excuse for bad hygienic conditions. Their outrageous cheapness is self-defeating in the long run, I should think, unless there are really desperate men out there who could care less.

But still, they have a devout following which would defy logic. There would be a reason (or madness) for it.

Anyway, I think I found a couple of new favourites closer to home, kinder, gentler, more sincere and cleaner.

I just got back from there, Natural Healing. The manager was not there and I was greeted by Alice. It wasn't busy, so I got a crazy idea for a duo, when I heard that Cindy was also around.

My oh my! What a mind-blowing experience! I guess that, even for regulars, YMMV. Anyway, I guess that I wil probably visit once in a while, when I am in the neighbourhood, and take my chances and hope for the best.
