I was going to reserve my 200th post for an action review, but, I have to commend LexLuther (and Rejected Monke in a supporting role) for the clear and concise explanation of the business and how thing work.

As you both say, for whatever reason, these girls have chosen this path...and they do so at great personal risk. They don't get medical, dental, etc...it's all out of pocket. Transportation as well is all out of pocket (and they have to pay full price on things like air fare, etc.). If there are any "troubles" in the AMPs, often times their money and belongings are confiscated and never returned...even if no charges are filed.

Hopefully everyone here understands that these ladies are human beings, but, in my opinion, they are exceptional human beings. How many people do you know that would risk so much to pursue the American Dream?


My hat's off to all of you that treat the ladies with respect...

P.S. - Max, your inquiry that spurred this discussion was a good one, so you deserve some credit too...but next time, go to the ATM! LOL

According to my very well informed sources, Evergreen Spa has been shut down. It was raided by the local PD and the landlord for the building has been ordered to not lease the location for at least 12 months. However this is being fought in the DC courts as of right now. But until further notice, Evergreen Spa is closed.

Went by J's on M street. There was a sign on the door indicating they were closed. Rang the bell and was taken inside anyways. Charging .70 for the hour.

Also went by 1333 conn and they were open as well.

I checked out the City Paper and noticed that Gold had an ad for the third floor and M Street had an ad for the second floor. The last time I went to M, there was a "For Sale" sign on the third floor visible from the street. I may have to check it out on Friday and review back! Last time I went to M (little brain thinking while at one of the adjacent establishments), it was very run down and the attendant actually tried to upsell me -- a first for DC AMPs in my experience.
