In Trouble in Patong

I was rung up by a Thai friend of mine last night and was told that I am in serious trouble in Patong. Apparently I have been causing a big rift between a bar girl and her husband. The story I heard was that the husband does not want to hear my name again and has threatened to put me in hospital.

In an ordinary world all of this would be perfectly understandable except that I have never barfined the girl or indeed met her more than briefly when I was drinking at the same bar with my TG. I was last in Patong in February! It turns out that she is jealous of my girlfriend and has said that when I come back to Patong she will definitely make me hers. She has said this quite a lot and her husband is now understandably fed up.

It seems a bit rum to me and I do not like the idea of being beaten up by people I don't know for something it is acknowledged I have not (yet) done!! There might be some question as to the veracity of the story I was told except that the person who told me the story is someone I trust and I cannot think of any motive they would have for ringing me up and lying to me.

I wondered what other BM's would think about this and whether anyone else has been subjected to ting tong BG's and what they did about it.

Hi Mac,

I think if you avoid the Soi where this BG works, and if she hunts you down, then send her away in no uncertain terms, then you will be OK. It is the talk of his crazy wife that makes him angry, nothing you have done. If you have a TG with you, then I think you will be even more safe, since it will be clear that you have a girl and are not interested in his wife.

Of course, it makes you wonder about some of these people. If he lets his wife work as a BG, then what does he expect? He must know his wife is crazy. But then what is he? Strange world.

One evening i was without the bg, I was seeing, first she knew exactely where and with who I have been, but she managed to find me at quiet a different place in Patong, next day!

Better figure it out!

Simply becasue the husband knows she works the bar and she boom booms many men so he not likely to be jealous of one in particular. If anything he would be grateful to you as you would be paying for his upkeep

Forget about it and probably best just to avoid her until you see the lie of the land

ps the owner of the bar will simply not entertain husbands and boyfriends coming to the bar and upsetting their patrons. If you have a real problem with this girl speak to the owner

Thanks for the advice. I think I will have to brazen it out as I have just booked my ticket to Patong for December 20th!! Hopefully the girl will be too busy with the Christmas fare to think about me.
