They 'overbooked', then asked for volunteers to leave the plane, then dragged a man off the plane who was randomly selected to be escorted from the plane. Why? They wanted to send some of their extra airline crew to another city. Why didn't the airline put their work crew on another, private jet instead of taking seats from passengers that had already paid for them. That is theft on the part of the airline. You can't make this shit up. I hope this guy sues the airline for $100 million dollars.

The other passengers should have came to this man's defense when the police officers started forcibly removing the man from the plane. As I said, police officers are paid brown-shirts. They have no decency. I hope these officers get payback one day, where a crowd of civilians attack them just as they attack innocent people in their day-to-day 'job'. Fucking disgraceful on the part of United. They will lose millions because of this event. There is already a boycott being started online and people are cancelling their bookings with United.

Yes. Agreed. Admin, will you put a Toronto general discussion forum? I don't want to participate in a world wide general discussion forum. Guys in India or China will want to talk aobut different general topics than guys in Toronto and Detroit.

United Airlines stock has declined 3% since the incident was reported on in the news.

Everyone involved should be fired. If your employees have to cover a shift or otherwise in another city, charter them a plane or arrange something else. To kick a passenger off the plane, who did nothing wrong, and who already paid and boarded the plane, is theft.

The company has already lost hundreds of millions due to the bad publicity. Just goes to show you that people in high positions aren't always very smart.

Yesterday United was trading at $72 per share
Today United is trading at $69.xx per share.

This incident will end up costing them at least $1 Billion in profits.

The video shows how low intelligence people - workers employed by authority figures - can dominate a high intelligence person (passenger is a doctor) as long as the low intelligence people have the numbers on their side.

No matter how successful, no matter how hard you work in life, you are literally 5 minutes away from getting attacked by a mob if that mob receives the right motivation. That's why I try my best to stay out of poor neighbourhoods, crowded spaces and the like.

So many people are boycotting the airline now. My wife, who flies about 6 times a year, even said she will never step foot on a United Airlines plane. I hope their losses reach 10 billion.

Police claim the man 'fell' on his own and that is how he injured himself.

Police officers and hookers have one thing in common - if they are talking, most likely, they are lieing. I don't know why anyone gives credit to police officers in court. I would never believe anything a police officers testified to in court, unless it was on video. Police officers are the most dishonest people - as a group - that I have met in my life.

Her is what the police claim happend:

Chicago police said the man became “irate” after he was asked to disembark and that he “fell” when aviation officers “attempted to carry the individual off the flight … His head subsequently struck an armrest causing injuries to his face”.

Reminds me of the Freddy Gray case, where police claimed that Freddy paralyzed himself because he moved around to much while not wearing a seatbelt during transport. If that were possible, then every passenger in Ontario before seat belt laws came into effect would have self-paralyzed as well, as we would have about 5 million disabled people rolling around in wheelchairs as of today. Freddy Gray died and the police were found not guilty of his murder.

I know, I know: 'Most police officers are good people. There are bad apples in every organization' I grew up around police - my family had 3 officers. My friends' family heads were officers. I knew many other officers because they would visit my Dad at the house after their shifts and when they weren't working. They are, for the most part, terrible people. When I would hire for a company I once owned, I would refuse any reference that was from a police officer.
