Hockey Night in Thailand...

Just Curious,

Even accounting for the time difference, do any pubs/bars play Hockey on TV, I'll be in Phuket and Pattaya for the Month of February. Games would typically start around 7:00am local time. However I am not sure if the Satellite channels would rebroadcast any games at a more reasonable time?

I am no help in your question as I have not followed hockey much here as the Boston Bruins owners really don't want to invest in the team to win a championship. Bruins don't get much air time on the local news compared to the other teams as a result.

IIRC the best sports channels are the SAFA ones aren't they...doubt Ice Hockey would be high on their priority list...cricket + Rugby + Euro football is the main diet I seem to remember

actually Bruins are a fun exciting young team to watch now
i got back in to them during last years playoff drive

and if they werent going to pay Thornton, they did get some decent players out of it

I honestly haven't followed hockey much the past few years. But although Thornton always put up good numbers, he never seemed to be the leader/winner the Bruins hoped he'd be. And I don't believe he did it for San Jose either. I don't even know where he's playing now.

Bruins had some great teams and players in the post-Orr years (Ray Bourque was amazing!) but never got it together for a Cup.

Im not there yet but i was doubting there would be any... howwever if you have a decent internet connection you could always go to MyP2P.eu :: Free Live Sports on your PC, Live Football, MLB, NBA, NHL and more...

great website... you'll have to download a few smaller programs (depends on who's streaming the game which one they use, its usually SOPCAST for hockey though)

I know ill be watching my vancouver canucks everychance i get.. luckily their games will be 10am instead of 7... i dont think i could make the 7am game as i havent woke up that early since highschool!

To the OP - TSN.CA streams live and I think CBC does to. Caught the West Final and Grey Cup last year no problems except my bedmate wondered why i was setting my alarm for so early.

Even streamed the call in show post game and called in on skype.

Go to youtube and watch some hockey hits and fights and then you might take back your girl comment. Why do people alwase insult hockey when baseball is lame and the players dress with pajamas on. Then there is the football players with the skin tight freaky pants.
