So I TOFT. Saw Mimi at Centre St NW for a 1 hr massage.

Massage was very average but Mimi just could not stop praising her own massage skills. Fully undraped massage. She worked on all the parts of the body with a lot of tease. On the flip, she kept working her way up and eventually got rid of the towel. Then offered some services and I decided to go with the minimum.

Was happy at the end but not really happy - certainly not something I enjoyed mainly because of the self adulation and the masseuse (Mimi is early to mid fifties at the very least). Not my go-to choice at my current age.

Overall fairly priced for the service you get but not a repeat for me.

There are still a few good places where its YMMV or relationship based. However, very very rare. Body Tree is one of them.

Think the problem with this house based shop is that they are advertising many therapists available on different days and times. And then names like Mimi run separate ads as if they are in another shop, yet their photo shows up on main ad bit with another name. All this nonsense is unnecessary. A focus on service will make the real difference. Any glowing reviews?

I have had good massages there with another RMT.

Did others offer any extras? I tried others there (they were better - looks and massage) but no extras. Also I didn't ask for extras as I was not sure.

I don't believe Mimi works there anymore.

I have had minimum extra from someone who was not Mimi. Had to go a few times and had to ask for it.
It was fast but enjoyable. Nice way to end a decent massage. I’ve repeated probably 3-4 times

Thanks. Yep, the massages from others are very decent - I would rate the massage a 7. Once I got a 4 hand at no additional cost as one masseuse was training the other. I will try to be a regular for obvious reasons.

I went once and saw Cathy. The person I was messaging kept trying to push the male therapist over text, but then said Cathy is the best so I booked with her. I found it to be an ok massage but she wasn't up my alley for sure. Didn't ask if there was anything more.
There was an attractive blonde in the back there but I don't know her name. If anyone has info on her I'd gladly accept.

Cathy is the owner. She will do a HE for you if ask her...but it's very mechanical and not great. Mind you, this was last year.

Don't know if things have changed recently as others have said above...extras used to be available from other therapists here but none of them seem to work there anymore.

All the other therapists that work there now don't offer any extras as far as I'm aware. Cathy 'might' be trying to be a professional setup these days.

Original subject line ad and phone number has no relationship to the house based massage on Centre street. Totally different businesses, unnecessary confusion. The original subject phone is another therapist who has been in Calgary for about 15 years or so with various businesses, mostly overpriced for average quality therapeutic massage.
