As an Australian but born in the UK sometimes it is just what you notice. I saw some incredibly bogun Aussie girls last time i was in patong. Their behaviour was quite embarrassing really but my travelling companion was miffed by the amount of "scruffy poms" that were there. Truth is there are ferals from any country. If it is only those you focus on then that is up to you. I met some lads from London on my previous trip that were great guys and have met some terrrific Australians there to.

I havn't been to seduction for ages, but it was on the downhill spiral last time there whereas Hollywood has been on the up for ages.

Costs havn't much changed, if anything slightly upwards, you should still be able to get LT for 1500 baht without haggling and possibly spoiling the night. Girls are asking for more, but not much more often than before, its a hope or an indication they are not too keen on you, you'll soon suss it out.

"Exploited by the girl"?!? : I sometimes pay 2000 baht or more (and I have never paid less than 1500 baht). If a TG quotes me 1000 baht, I tell her that that is not enough. I have never felt "exploited!" (More fool me, I guess.)

I am not expecting kudos, nor do I consider myself generous: I just wouldn't feel right paying only 1000 baht. (Again, more fool me, I guess.)

As to the country-to-country cost comparison: I look at it at differently: 1000 baht is approximately $30 (U.S.); not paying an extra 500 baht ($15) or 1000 baht ($30) seems stingy to me. Again, that is just me, and I am not expecting kudos.

Hey i find the best time to negotiate is when you don't really care about the outcome. Last time i was in phuket i told a young cute one (most ordinary results come from the young cute ones) I would pay 1000 if it was an ordinary boom boom 1500 if it was good and 2000 if it was the best i had had since i had been in town (i was seven days into a ten day trip) I thought she would tell me to get lost. She took me up on my offer though. Cost me 2000 but both parties were happy.

IMHO Patts has nothing going for it but mongering, no historic significance, no clean beach and no surf, no architecture, no charm, no style and no soul....fuk all in fact!
First visited it in 88 and it was a mongering hole then, last visited it a few weeks back, nothing had changed except the hotels are bigger, the bars are bigger and Walking street which was a strolling lane is now a mongering highway.....

Nothing you cant do in Patts that you can in Bangers or Phuket, cant say the same thing the other way around

hey i was in patong only 5weeks ago! had many different bg's- Fl's...

(my 4th visit to phuket in 12months)

never asked about prices before going back to room with lady LT.
asked in the morning/afternoon and always was told 1000baht! which i gave to them
plus small tip if i had small notes on me(HaHa!)

every lady i went with was a stunner!

but as many BM'S have said, depends on the lady and on you... be a nice guy have fun and dont stress over the price.

im sure you'll get a good deal once you get to know the lady-ladys.... if ofcourse they like you at least a little bit!

When I was 22, going on my first big solo adventure on the road, I went into the travel agents and said I want a ticket to London with a stopover in Thailand, sorted, ok can you please tell me where there is a nice beach spot to visit in Thailand, sure she says, I'll just get the brochure, mmm a place called Pattaya seems nice, says here it has a nice beach, righto Pattaya it is then book me a hotel room... :happy:

What is the point of a forum if you cannot ask questions ?? Yes some are repetative and possible boring to some people, but for a new member it allows them to get involved. I would think that most questions about Phuket/Patong/BG's etc are covered somewhere within the forum. I think there are too many responses about "use search" or "google it". Is the forum not about communicating with each other ???
