Actually most parking lots fixed that loophole a while back. All City of Toronto Green Parking municipal lots require you to enter your plate number which is printed in bold on the ticket and the attendants can easily verify if you using a legit ticket or "hand me down"

Actually, if u buy f/ machine... just COINS in machine... u can give that ticket 2 someone if u want, no plate on it ofc...

if you want to take a chance, don't buy a ticket at Green P. I work in downtown so I always park at the Green P lot at Warden stn. So far I haven't been ticketed.

Just don't park and leave your car on the street for hours when the snow plows are out working.

depends on which parking lot you are talking about. The one at Finch west station requires to entire the license plate even when you pay with coins.

Yeah... I just put a dime in usually, cos they gotta cut u some slack b4 they give u a ticket...
...u get 10 minutes grace period automatically when u buy any kinda ticket, so if I can be done quickly.... well, not a spa visit ...but any other kinda visit... a dime= fine w me!

I am not sure if I want to park my car there since they provide a phone number to call if your car is towed. it doesn't matter since company pays for parking anyways.
