The people you are ignoring, don't need to know that you are ignoring them.

Something to consider: If someone has an opinion you don't like, don't get into eventual insult filled debates with them...debates that go back and forth without end. If its too tempting, then yes... maybe you should ignore them....but actually ignore them.

His concern is with the infiltration of Communist China into every facet of Canadian life...especially the massage industry...as thats an important part of his life. Thank you, Maestro. Massage is an important part of the leisure side of my life, and essential to healthy living, along with good nutrition, exercise, deep rest. Not saying that if we are injured in an automobile accident, or struck by an illness, that I do not believe in our emergency care and hospitals and drugs, but by and large, I think we owe it to ourselves to do our best to promote self care. And my comments regarding China are not aimed at individuals but at the CCP. I am a believer in immigration that helps our country grow with enthusiastic and hard working families who not only want to do well but have a desire to build and contribute to Canada. But I have great concerns around money laundering, and efforts to subvert political and commercial systems by the CCP in countries such as Canada, Australia, NZ etc. When individual MPs get seduced, by foreign powers, I consider these activities as a form of treason. At our hobby level, it's simple. Let's patronize those providers who are hard working people, and clearly not the tools of CCP or Triads. Btw, my thoughts are the same about bike gangs, whether they be the Hells Angels or others. Don't patronize their businesses, and burn their bikes if you get a chance.

On the Edmonton front, an example of the people that I admire, and patronize are the hard working ladies at Xiaoping.

Every time we pay for any service or a product, we are casting a vote. Let's do so with good judgement.

Btw, for those using just about any social media whether it be WeChat or Tinder, the infiltration by fake handles created by the CCP is incredible. They are all designed to lift your personal data, whether it be your photo albums or other data. There is no immediate threat or specific goal. But the idea is to gain an upper hand on citizens of other nations. In the west we do not understand long term games.

If you read all of this.. congratulations. Watch the next 20 years. But in Canada, I urge more of us to become more engaged in political developments. It will matter.

Come on... you really believe the #1 that China is Communist? It's a dictatorship, and #2 they're purpose to infiltrate Canada would be to overcharge you when they jack you off? That's quite a theory.

Being cognizant of human trafficking and other issues around the sex trade is important. I curtailed my visits to micros some time ago because I suspect the women might be exploited in this fashion. If we stopped forcing the industry to operate outside of the law, we could solve many of these issues. So now I only patronize establishments where I'm as certain as one can be that the women are there voluntarily and get to keep the tip as well as receive a portion of the standard fee.

And no, China is not communist regardless of how they might use that term. It's an authoritarian regime run by a dictator. This is also true of the former "communist" eastern European nations. They were also authoritarian regimes that used the guise of socialism/communism to plunder their countries.

You are correct Bill about ‘some’ micros exploiting women. This is also true of the ‘semi-legit’ places that provide sexual services as well. It’s quite common for new workers to be trapped into owing vast amounts of money for entry into Canada, training, and boarding. 30-50K is quite a common amount. A lot of places are financed by men, and generally there is a lady involved who manages and takes ownership liabilities in the eyes of the law.

Wherever human trafficking is involved, I strongly suggest we not only avoid, but do our best to notify appropriate authorities. Period. Looking away is to preserve it.

As for Chinese regime, don't get me started on it. I've actually lived and worked in China for a few years. To imagine 'a dictator' is typical of those who study from afar. The CCP's Central Politburo is well and alive. Currently Xi clings to power that appears to be absolute but is hardly that secure. Cohorts of Jiang Zemin from the past (most of China's stolen wealth has been laundered overseas by these folks) still wrestle for power. Common folks look away while the party's leaders pillage the public coffers at central and regional levels. Xi still has a massive task ahead. No one trusts one another. We will leave it at that.

Back to the business of spending our massage dollars with good hard working providers, Asian or otherwise.

#1 its difficult to attribute "Canadian values" when you're talking about a rub and tug; let alone state that you support these regarding immigration while complaining that the person you're paying for a tug with your rub is ripping you off. So you support immigration? But only if it is in alignment with Canadian values. Is that for women who will rub you off inexpensively... ah I see, that must be supportive of Canadian values. I'm quite certain there's no checkbox on the immigration forms that says do not separate a fool from his money.

I am an immigrant that has built my life on Canadian Values, and if I was to rip you off you could say a “German rip off “ without causing any offense at all.

Saw her when she was Fannie and I was as green as beer on St Paddy’s day to the massage hobby. She’s not young. I’d say she was in her 30s when Gretzky and the boys were winning their cups, and it was still the city of champions.

She blatantly shows pictures of girls that are 30 years younger and this is what lured me in the first time. So beware of that if you’re intrigued by the photos. You’re more likely to see an accurate picture on some cave drawings. That being said, with a million miles on her odometer she’s picked up a few things and does a half decent massage. And isn’t shy about doing an okay finish. Of course maybe it’s helped by age induced Parkinson’s, I’m not sure. I reviewed her early on in my tenure here, but have since seen much much better and decades younger providers, so I’m more able to judge her abilities. I wouldn’t recommend unless you haven’t had the oil changed in awhile and aren’t particular who does it for you, or if you have an Asian Mrs Robinson fetish. She’s a nice lady, clean place, decent relaxing massage but if you’re looking for more, look elsewhere.
