So, here's a detailed FR...couldn't write much when in bars...

Started with Mayur around 8.30, it was packed..1st floor and ground floor. Guess Gatari was in full swing. Anyways, even most of the girls were also occupied and had to wait for sometime. While waiting, not having a much choice, Mukta (have sat with her multiple times), pulled me into a corner seat, as it was getting empty soon, and the coatwala, wanted to give it to a larger group...sat with her for 30mins and then left as bar was totally packed, and was not fun. Moved to Malwani Kinara and they have a good collection, had some beers, eyed a few chicks..all looked new to me, except 2 (rare for mongers like us), and had a gala time. The seating is very much like Baywatch, so no privacy, and girls are hesitant. Good part is washrooms are large and right next to girls changing room, so a girl that I took fancy to, took her for a short time, groped, kissed etc, just enough to heat her up. The rooms are just 1 floor above and entry is from inside only, but first visit, she would have been a dead fish....Moved to Navratana (Seawoods) for chole bathure, and then headed to Ramesh about 12.30. It was as suspected packed to the core, but managed to get the lucky spot (under the staircase on the ground floor), it was total fun, sat with a chick (don't remember her name or face) but good access and fun...Sat for about an hour and moved to Heavens....and this was packed like crazy...not even an inch to stand, so walked out and called it a night at 2am.

@Shaukeen Ramesh has got raided on Monday or Tuesday night, last week. Amit Palace in Turbhe got raided so badly that they had to shut down. Some customer apparently got miffed on the cops as the girls disappear, music dims that he lashed out at them, and that was the end of Amit palace. This I got to know from a friend who visits everyday. I was not personally present.

My first 2 visits to Ramesh were unremarkable. I was on recce mode, so all I did was have a drink and observe. I was underwhelmed by the quality of girls until I met one that was totally worth the shortcomings of the bar.

If you have not been to Kishore yet, the ambience of Kishore is also nothing to write home about, but if you find a gem then the ambience and surroundings don;t matter at all.

I have not been present in Mumbai during Sharavan in a very long time. So I can't speak from recent experience. I do recall that when I lived in Mumbai a long time ago, Shravan had no impact on mongers. Guys who love the girls and their drinks, won't let Shravan stop them

If you are looking to enjoy your drink in a great ambience while watching beauties standing around or dancing for your pleasure, then both of these are great spots. Both start operations after 10:30pm. You will have to get there by 11pm to grab the best seats in the house.

How would you define a "good" DB? If you are looking for DBs like Nightingale, then White House in Nerul, Love DB and Baywatch in Turbhe should be on your list to explore. They may or may not fit the bill (based on your definition of "good DB" ), but are definitely worth exploring. Cabana DB in CBD (near Nightingale) is also decent. Most of these DBs start rocking around 8pm and close by around 10:30pm. The exceptions are bars that transform into OBs after 10:30pm (like Nightingale, Cabana and White House for example). These continue rocking till around 2am.

Being shraavan, I don’t think many people will turn up. If this happens then nothing like it. If it’s tooo full, its our loss. So be aware.

Tip for newbies: ( I m not one of the seniors but not a newbie)
1) don’t spend on girls if u have gone for the first time in that bar and it’s some celebratory day. Just tip the waiters more than usual. Pay 200/- to the white coat upfront if u find a seat. Call cash of 2k...spend 1k slowly on few girls..spend rest of the 2k on waiters etc. believe me, this will go a long way.

All suggestions r wel come.

I look forward to this forum more for the tips that names. More for the average expenses that specific ones.

I have only been doing this for a year and half now .. and from what I experienced last year - shraavan is the start of dry season for db/sb ..at least you can go and have fun in shraavan, but after shraavan starts ganpati and then devi's come and this whole time is basically "section garam hai" time. My experience at Mayur last year during this ganpati/devi period was that - lights were not dimmed, they were rather bright .. girls were there, but no groping/kissing .. they'll just sit next to you and talk and try to get you to order soft drinks .. as they'll make money out of it. coz they don't make money from tips as they can't provide service.

So yeah, go and have fun before the ganpatis arrive .. regarding less or more mongers during shraavan, I dont think theres much difference .. rather business is affected by weather - rains. On days like rakhi, etc .. of course you see a lot less patrons.
