Funny thing a few years ago one girl asked me my shirt size and surprised me with an Armani shirt. She left the price tag on it. Now I buy expensive stuff but never have I spent $675 on a shirt!
and definitely hadn’t spent that much with her up to that point.
haven’t seen her in 2 years but she’s still active. Don’t ask who.

I used to collect guitars too, but sold most of them in 2012 and 2013 when the vintage market was hot.

Smart. I hold onto stuff way too long. Plus the guitar manufacturers have smartened up
upping their quality. The new stuff is good. Then the vintage is cool but the deteriorating electronics makes them volatile so they end up staying in the case.

Don't waste your money. Been there, done that. Girls get lots of gifts and it's not special. What changed my opinion was over the years hearing them talk to me about the gifts they got from other guys and how little it actually mattered to them (in some cases they just mocked the guys for being losers). Sure they love it (who wouldn't love free shit), but you're just one of many dudes giving them money. Especially if they want gift cards (lol). That's just them saying don't waste your time giving me some gift, just give me MONEY. At best a girl might appreciate it (along with all the other guys she "appreciates") but usually it just gets tossed into the pile with all the other gifts and at the end she counts up how much money she got for Xmas.

The guy who got the shirt, guaranteed she had a source who gave it to her for free.

So if you want to give a gift, have at it. But it's nothing special and you're just one of many doing it (especially if she's hot). And it is SIMP behaviour.

Or it can simply be a kind gesture. It's only simp behaviour if you're expecting to get something more out of it. I don't care what she does with my gift or what she thinks of me for doing that, the same way I don't care about what my property manager and condo security think of their gifts.

People overthink things on this site and are too concerned about what the perception of them is by their favourite working girls.

I get those moments of clarity sometimes. Actually more so lately.
I tried to see 2 of my regulars tonight. Both were off. Then I thought about 3rd choice and said self wtf are you doing. I still have my wallet intact and will go when I feel it.
This ain’t no hobby. It’s a habit.
I’m tired of “trying new girl” when the one I’m in the mood for isn’t available.

It’s not even about the money with me. the sessions I enjoy best I pay with an open heart. When I pay what I feel is a fair amount and they literally stick their fingers in my pocket for more they may get an extra $20 but take a good look at my beautiful butt as I’m leaving as it’s the last you’ll see of it.

A small gift, sonething simple such as chocolates, is appreciated by most girls. If you think you will be mocked then don't worry you have a straight forward transactional relationship with the girl. Your money, their prescribed mechanical delivery of services

We seem to forget, or don't want to acknowledge, (easy way to create detachment) that these are people first, and second their occupation.

I have gifted my regulars and most often received appreciation and extra care. I gifted just to be kind not expecting anything more in return. Often this lead to a more satisfying session. From only HJ to FS, even at legit places was offered without being asked for. (Of course my tips reflected my gratitude) Many posts and arguments abound on the topic of YMMV. Maybe treating the girls with respect and dignity might get you more in the long run.

Yeah but I do miss them. I didn't have much trouble with electronics, but on my '59 Les Paul Standard and 1961 dot-neck, long pick-guard ES-335 the Kluson tulip plastic (nitrocellulose?) tuning heads started to shrink & disintegrate just before I sold them.

The best Tele I ever owned, even better than my original black guard '52, was a new Fender Masterbuilt "Nocaster" that I bought from Cosmo Music in 2010. That one was amazing and I really should have kept it.
