Found these just by checking La Extra, http://diarioextra.com, and La Teja, which isn't yet smart enough to put it's classifeds online, but is available everywhere.

New ones seem to pop up every month.

A few of these may have been posted before, but at least now you have phone numbers.

The prices seemed normal for all these places, but call for better directions. (Basic reminder, 100 meters = one street block.)

I called myself, but got a busy signal. Seriously, thanks for the research, though I wonder how many of us could find most of those places via Tico directions. I know where some of those places are, some are definitely on RBC's list. I'm interested in that one in Desamparados, as that's where most of the girls seem to live. Might be an interesting selection there.

I will research the one in Alajuala and report back. It might be a good hit for those that are overnighting it out near the airport.

As far as the Tico directions, this is how the taxistas do it. If you have a decent taxi driver that you trust, you should be all good. Especially if you can brief them ahead of time as to where you want to go.

So I just rechecked the local papers and these are all places with numbers I haven't seen elsewhere.

I would guess they are in San Jose, accept for the first one on the list, which says it's in Santa Ana.

I guarantee you these are all MPs though, and not gay ones, which sometimes also advertise in the same section. (Watch out for when it says "impartido por varones" or something similar.)
