If the PTA has members like that old troll who thinks sending hateful emails to hard working parents is productive, then there is no hope for this PTA to amount anything. I'm not sure working on the PTA is worthwhile if you have to spend time and energy evading or counter attacking that dried up prune everytime you suggest something. You might be better off taking the time to help your kids with homework and planning weekend activities.

I concur. 'sides, she found out about your CL days, someone must have told her. I don't think she was trolling CL erotic services 2 yrs ago in case she runs into someone at a PTA meeting. If someone told her, then most likely the cat is out of the bag (and probably has been for a while). Think of how this could have happened? somewhere the lines were crossed. Now you must think about the welfare of your kid. I feel for you in this, it is a tuff obstacle but you are an intelligent woman and you will prevail.

I'm new to the board having just moved back to beautiful NYC and looking for a good massage and coming across this thread, I'm genuinely taken by how the board members really care about you. That says a lot about you. So first I'm giving you a big hello and a warm hug and second I am truly sad that you are experiencing this unpleasantness. My two cents, for what it's worth, is to do whatever is necessary to protect your daughter. Keep a low profile, try to transfer her to a new school if feasible, and be ready to address the issue with your daughter if someone talks. It isn't a stretch that word may filter down to the kids. There is nothing wrong with what you do or how you live (or how we live) but kids don't have the tools to be free thinkers and in the end this is all about protecting your kid and not about your ideas and promises to help the school. Tell the principal that you were just offered a new job and that you won't be able to follow through. She'll understand. Wishing you well, God Bless.

So I get an email from someone who was at the meeting yesterday, probably this woman, stating simply that my kind are not wanted or needed around young impressionable girls and that if I insist on being a part of the PTA they will be sure that everyone knows about my activities on craigslist... which is really funny since I havent been on craigslist in over 2 years. As soon as I wrote down my name and email on the list yesterday, I knew it was a mistake.
Thats what I get for putting pictures up.
What do they think...that I will talk their kids into a life of selling themselves?
The big question now is, do I continue being part of the community or do I quitely bow out after promising the principal to head up a student/parent blog for the school website?
I was so excited about this and felt almost... normal. I really feel that I can be a great addition to the school with my ideas.
I was going to offer a "how to massage your pet" day to raise money.
I was going to give free step aerobics to the kids once a week.
I was creating an anonymous box for students to put their complaints and comments into that I would reply to on the website. There are so many things I can do because I understand teens.. but causing my kid humiliation... well... isnt one.
Maybe I should just come clean with the principal and hope she still wants me?

and as far as a more physical connection - as many have said already, all guys are different. i can't say its 100% true that men who see you aren't looking for sex or else they would be seeing a different provider. maybe they did want a great massage, but once they talk with you or meet you and the comfort level rises, things change and if you're both sending signals...then why not take things farther!?

there are even chemistry issues when seeing FS providers. everyone knows about the YMMV factor, so if you are in a situation where you are comfortable and you want to go for it...go for it.

unfortunately there are no where near enough people in the world like you, if there are any at all. people that you deal with everyday lie, cheat and steal right to your face all while wearing a smile. no one seems to care about anyone or anything but themselves. the same woman who looked you up and down probably cares only about herself and her immediate family not even bothering to take the time to either get to know you or just be open minded enough to accept who you are and move on from there. i highly doubt that you have given her any reason to not like you, so her reaction is completely one of either jealousy, narrow mindedness or just hate, because thats the kind of person she is.

don't let someone like that bring you down. there will always be people like that, you just need to remember who you are and what you've accomplished, how hard you work and how much love and admiration you get from friends and family alike.
