Best Bars In Prague ?

This thread is about bars, music bars/clubs & dance clubs, not about Privates, cabarets, strip clubs, night clubs or escort agencies.

Here we are supposed to talk about places where to pick-up regulars girls (free sex) - eventually about pick-up bars like River Palace, Chesterfield, Mikado... (pro's or semi-pro's).

But I agree, there is almost no chance to get laid with a Hooters girl or a Hooters guest...

I was used to reading reports dealing with clubs or privates, but isn't that too far from mongering dealing with an American bar/restaurant brand that uses short dresses for their waitresses to sell a few more cups of beer ?

And if you're not living in Prague you probably have very little chance to pick-up one of the friendly waitresses

I knew hooters as restaurants where shortly dressed waiters would sell french fried potatoes (in America) and stay close to the customer to get a good tip. But do you really think there will be WG of girls looking for a date in such a restaurant in Prague ?

It's now called Deminka Palace Club. Open from 9pm to 5am. In the past I saw very often girls from different night clubs & privates partying there when having a night off.

After Planet Hollywood (already closed), TGI Friday's (3 locations) and Hard Rock massageplanete, first Hooters restaurant opened in Prague yesterday.

The opening party took place from 5pm to 2am with (among others) Miss Hooters International & Miss Hooters Worldwide

Like Hard Rock massageplanete Prague and his cocktail bar, Hooters would like to see people not coming for food only but drinks as well. If some nice party girls can be seen in Hard Rock massageplanete Prague I doubt these girls will show up at Hooters (but who knows...).

The new dance club "Ocko Music club" opened yesterday at the Prague Congress Center (Kongresove Centrum).

Some famous faces (well at least in the Czech republic ) attended the opening party: models, singers, tv moderators and young people from czech reality shows.

Due to the location (off-centered) and advertising focused on locals, most of the crowd is expected to be czech and expats, at the contrary of Karlovy Lazne, Duplex, Club Lavka... wich are mostly filled with tourists.

The new setting includes a VIP section like club Mecca, Duplex, Sasazu. Misch Masch...

After Hard Rock massageplanete wich is planning to open his first czech restaurant next month next to Old Town square, Hooters will open between 2 and 6 restaurants in czech and slovaks republics. The first one should open next summer in Prague. The HR manager will be a happy man, it should be a nice job to interview young czech girls applying for a waitress position at this restaurant, isn't it ?

Update regardings the after parties taking place in Prague:

* The after parties terminated at LAX (disco club Lavka) short time after it was officially launched.

* In addition to the famous Studio54 (and to a lesser extend Le Clan and Party Club) one more bar started after parties: Club Prdel (slang word for "ass"). The club is open on wednesday, thursday, friday and saturday from 5:00 pm to late morning (at least on weekend).

* On certain weekend mornings Street massageplanete stay also open for some kind of after party. No regular programe/schedule, it depends on dj

Went recently to Cloud 9 and recognized a few escorts coming from K5 relax club. The girls were escorting clients obviously staying at the Hilton Hotel. I was there last time I was in Prague and wouldn't recommend it. I think the crowd was roughly 80% foreign, mainly young american students. Don't get me wrong, they can be fun, too, but they are not what I come to Prague for.

Just a few words about the bar scene. Three new bars opened last summer: Cloud9, Bar1One and Cathedrale.


Cloud9 : a new sky bar on the top of the Hilton Atrium hotel. Some escort girls with clients and "gold diggers" with boyfriend or lover...

Cathedrale : A new cocktail/music bar in the center (near namesti Republiky). Modern design, professional barmen but no atmosphere due to the low number of guests.

I would not reccommend the first two bars for "freebies hunting" and the third one was very quiet.


Also Chateau, former Chapeau Rouge, is renamed Chapeau Rouge again. This bar is well known in the (english speaking) expat community.
