There are quite a few bbfs posts recently. Obviously no one would like to share their bbfs partners who works at semi or legit mp.

I was offered at semi but never tired because they all unattractive to me. If I really did it for them, I feel like I have to charge them substantial amount of money.

The last and only time with whom I had bbfs at a legit place was becoming my ex gf. I decided not to have this type of encounter anymore since then.

Legit = real RMT clinic where you would not expect any extras at all

Semi-legit = mostly provides a good massage with basic Happy Ending such as a HJ. Things like FS and BJ are not offered as a service. Of course, anything can happen behind closed doors but in general, you would not expect to get those things at a semi-legit. Examples of semi-legit spas are Ocean Motion, Just Relax, Serene Ocean and Suko just to name a few...

Holistic = Body slides, BJs and FS are usually offered as part of their service. e.g. Purple Sugar, La Monny, QQ, etc.

Is there something else besides milage that makes these places different that you can easily tell them apart to know which is which?

For example, if girls at Ocean Motion suddenly started offering body slides, BJs and FS, would that change it from semi legit to holistic? Or would it just be a semi-legit that offers body slides, BJs and FS? I presume it would still be semi legit since guys are even talking about rare instances of FS at legit RMTs.

Sounds like most of the session at a semi legit is supposed to be straight up non-erotic massage, with maybe some fun stuff at the end? But is holistic right to the action or is that also massage for most of the session, and then just higher milage at the very end?

Is there sometimes no happy ending at all at semi-legits? Is it not a guaranteed thing?

Everything is in a mess now with defining massage parlors because some girls at some Asian spas providing all kinds of services at all types of spas no matter what the brand is. It used to be Legit, Semi Legit, Holistic and Body Rub parlors. Now we have Legit, Semi legit, Semi Holistic, Holistic and Body Rub parlors.
Nowadays, no matter what kind of spas you go, you will always come across with some girls doing a lot more than other girls because some Legit spa girls also working at Semi legit spas and some semi legit girls also working at Holistic spas vice versa. One plus One have a few girls like that so we have decided to change the brand to semi holistic. There is a big shortage of girls at spas so most spa owners are taking in who ever is willing to work no matter what kind of spas they are from. I know of a few holistic spa girls holding RMT licenses and also know some semi legit girls attending RMT schools. Can they become a real legit girls? I doubted.

I don't know that much about the license thing other than a handful of spas in the GTA have some kind of limited holistic license (I believe these are mostly the premier "holistic" places). But you're right, it's mostly the type of services offered that dictates whether it's semi or holistic. Semi places generally want to provide a decent massage with a bit of fun at the end but there is a lot of grey area within semis and some places are known to be a bit more "liberal" than others. In fact, the same MPA might only offer a basic HJ and some light touching at one semi spa but will do more at another (often, this is due to how strict the boss is). But at a minimum, you can expect at least a basic HE at a semi place (otherwise, it would be a legit clinic such as CBQ or any number of RMT clinics out there).

Like you said, because there is more focus on the "massage" part, many ladies > 40 can still do quite well at semis, and customers also benefit from not having to pay as much tips for basic extras too. Having said that, there are many younger ladies at semis because they don't want to do the higher mileage stuff at holistic places. I was just talking to a regular MPA of mine the other day and she was telling me that one of her friends keeps trying to convince her to go work at her holistic place because she would make much more money but she doesn't want to (because she doesn't want to "have to do" those higher level services for everyone).

Most holistic places will also give you some basic massage at the beginning as well but the quality won't be as good compared to the semi places and many guys will not even bother with the massage part at holistics. Also, keep in mind, everything I've been talking about is generalities here. You can certainly get BS, BJ and FS at semi legits but the difference is those aren't are a part of their standard services and the MPAs will often only do those with customers that they like (hence, the YMMV concept) and/or those that provide big tips. Contrast this with holistic places where anyone can walk in and get FS, since that is part of their standard services.

Also, many guys on here talk about getting extras at legit places. This is not as difficult as it seems. As XTC alluded to, there are many semi legit MPAs that also work at legit clinics. If you get to know one of these ladies really well at a semi place, chances are good that she will provide you a bit of fun at the other place too. It is more uncommon if we're talking actual RMTs, but that happens too.

I think there's a more legitimate meaning for body rub (related to licensing)...but it can also be used loosely to describe anything that's not legit.

Keep in mind, it's basically through reviews and experience that will tell you whether a spa is semi vs. holistic. For example, if you just look at the ads on here, you can't really tell. But if you read through the reviews and notice many guys are talking about getting FS, BJs etc., then chances are that is a holistic place. There are also subtle hints in the ad description, for example if they build up the description of the MPAs and talk about how sexy and beautiful they are, there's a good chance it's holistic. If they put emphasis on getting a strong massage or excellent "treatment", then it's likely semi legit.

If you physically visit a new place and aren't sure, then they way they dress is a good hint. Holistic MPAs will often dress much sexier whereas semi legit MPAs will usually dress in normal or even clinic outfits (generally speaking because it's not always like this). Plus, holistic places will often encourage you to stay for 30 mins because they can't really fake a good massage for 1hr, plus they want to get you in and out as soon as possible. If I go to a new place that I'm not sure about, I will often ask the MPA how long she recommends I stay for. If she says something like, "Oh honey, why not just try 30 mins...", then there's a good chance it's holistic. Of course, you can always just ask what they do but they are often hesitant to tell you, thinking you might be undercover LE or something.
