Warren Buffet has openly said he has been paying taxes less than his secretary. Yes, rich guys have their ways. I am not a rich guy, therefore I go by the rules that apply to my case and work with my CA to minimize tax payment. I view my tax payment as a donation to charity in a way.

You are showing your limited understanding of the Income Tax Act. There is nothing to get caught at. The Act encourages tax avoidance. Why? Because it is a document written by the rich for the rich. I have a relative who makes multiple millions of dollars every year and pays less tax than everyone in this forum. Colour me shocked. Its just the way it is.

Really? Then why is there a boat load of legal precedents where business and individuals have been taken to the cleaners by CRA after getting caught. Just because you have a relative paying less taxes doesn't make you an accountant. That much is obvious.

Tax avoidance means family trusts, accrued tax relief, legal off shore accounts etc. The Income Tax Act is chock a block full of legal ways to avoid tax. But who gives a shit. I want to know how to get the receptionist to show me her tits tomorrow at Pure before my appointment

Lol, You're an idiot. Obviously there is a distinction between legitimate and legal ways ways to avoid tax vs. Illegal avoidance. So You're are telling me avoiding and evading taxes by falsifying sales/income, withholding gst/pst is legal? You do realize you can go to prison for ripping off the CRA.

Avoiding and evading taxes are two completely different thing. Falsifying doesn’t fall into the avoiding taxes category. It is an intentional misrepresentation of income for the purposes of evading taxes. You need to do some actual research and learn the distinction before calling someone an idiot.

Ok, thank you. 'Avoid' and 'evade' are interpreted as different actions according to tax law. However, When i throw around the words avoid and evade on this form I am using both terms interchangeably to point out that certain entities here are evading taxes through illegal means.
