Just saying at getting to know them. Maybe they are not lambs in the woods. I have learnt a lot from my asian friends, do not disrespect it, just do not need to be naive about it. i had a past too. I thought it was just allowing one kid in china years ago and not true. Also they were doing crystal meth in discos in China and that is info coming from a lovely person. The propaganda goes both ways from our press to China and back. Just because they had a past does not mean bad people but we did not tarnish them necessarily. There is a spirituality to imperfection. All of us made choices. You made yours ( security of steady salary, perhaps a long runway of stable income, however comes with consistent income taxes ). She made hers ( tax free income, however unstable levels, no ob security, uncertain future ).

You made your choice, you need to live with it. Yes, she earns tax free income, however she also doesn't have your level of job security and steady income.

No matter who you are, there is always someone better looking, better at whatever skill, has more money, has better experiences. If you keep going down that path, then how can you possibly appreciate what you have?
