When I read this article, I knew that it was my life's mission to WIN this game. And here's what I mean. Many of these spa girls (of which real talk may be one) can really use their beauty and humanity (because they do have humane qualities even though many have lost touch with that part of themselves) to find a really good man. A man who works hard, has empathy for human beings and is driven to build a good life. Many of these men - which most of these spa girls can have - are easy to look at too. But what's happened is that after years of doing this nonsense, they've lost the ability to identify those men with whom they would enjoy true LOVE.

So, what are they in love with instead? Money. And once they have that, they look for a GUY (not a man, and there is a distinction) to be with. A guy who will invariably turn out to be shit. And that is where the spa life destroys them. It takes away their ability to recognize a good man. It takes away their life's purpose, which is to find love with MEANINGFUL goals attached to that relationship.

I have been out many times with a woman who works one of the spas. I am a real man. A good man. I always presented myself as an average professional. The truth was always that I bought a modest property on a European island (and can't say which because if she's reading this, you'll hear her say "bingo" so loud that I might be outed...and we do know each other's real names and addresses); I have enough going that I can retire in 4 years (I'm still in my 40s), and yet she will never be able to see me as a good man. It may have to do with having met her at the spa, but I no longer go there. Sex is sex and money is money. I'm keeping every nickel of mine for MY goals. MY dreams. Many of these spa girls could have had a most comfortable and adventurous journey with me. Well, at least one of them could have. She'll forever be looking for the perfect lover (which also becomes a distorted idea after years in a spa) and will invariably find a GUY who brings her back to zero.

Sorry, no. As a previous poster has guessed, I'm currently in a long term and stable relationship. I can easily draw the line between work and real life. He has a decent job, but works for 'the man' and will never, ever reach my earning potential. We're both ok with that. I'm in the industry long enough to make bank and cruise. May be a couple years, may be more. I also won't add more about my real life, but it's surprisingly normal. So no, I remain unbroken. Sorry.
