WHAT ARE THE BEST NIGHTCLUBS?

I have been SJ a few times, but have not done much nightclubbing (strip clubs, lesbian shows, go-gos, etc.).

I will be in town in a few months and would like to see what I missed.

Best nightclub as far as looks go is D'Pelufo's (close to Mall San Pedro). They have by far the hottest girls, but don't expect to get laid there. You can get a nice private lap dance (w/ touching) and you may get propositioned for other things. I received a very generous $60 proposition for a covered bj. :roll: Sure, guys will tell you they have gotten laid, but I've spoken to several guys and been there a couple times with the guys, it's not the norm and it's not cheap.

The best club to get laid at IMO is Pantera Rosa. They have these "Panther" ( : ) Rooms (booths) where you can see the stage thru a one-way mirror. Those are supposed to cost like 15k ($30) for 20 min. but the girl can quote pretty much whatever she wants. Some have quoted as high as $60 or $80, but you shouldn'y pay more than $40 IMO. If she quotes you more than $30, you can haggle with her. There is also a real room onsite, but that goes for $125-150/hr.

Kamur used to have a $75/hr CRT rate but who knows now.

Bar Monaco charges $50/half-hour and the majority of the women are downright fugly. It's big but usually empty (the times we've been). The facilities are third world. It should be fifteen dollars, not fifty.

RED means STOP. Avoid the ripoff joints listed above. You will pay out your ass for nothing and they have large steroid guerilla-types there to make sure you do.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Atlantis. But then again, I only paid $8 for 2 hrs of entertainment there...
and PR is FAR better than DP's...

The rest of them suck.

Atlantis is the closest thing to a US club I've seen in CR... Some guys like that. Me, I wanna phuk em...

There are quite a few more, actually. I would go to RBC's list at the top of this section, but worth mention here would be:

Arcadas... inexpensive, mediocre talent, safe, honest
Alcazar... mid priced, good talent, expensive if you buy drinks for girls or want full service.
Lipstick... major rip off
Le Grillion... decent talent, mid priced, expensive for sex
Bar Flamingo... mediocre talent, mid priced, not too bad for 'compania' but not great

Incidentally, I wouldn't consider either VIPS Taberna or Molino Rojo as strip clubs, though they do have some dancers occasionally.

There are other rip off joints too, but I won't even bother listing them. Most are out on Paseo Colon or Sabana Sur.

Yeah, but it's freaky!!!

they ENFORCE silence during the show, and it's like a religious experience for them...

AS FAR AS Molin Rojo and VIPS are concerned, yeah, I wouldn't really call them strip club either, but hey, the sex is cheap and good.

Monaco... I have been there once... the girl dropped from the scenario to my arms... she was very nice (great body and face, from Quepos, living in Sant Ana) but the action was like $50 (30 minutes) so I said: Nice to meet you, good bye. :roll:


Lip Stick... well... there is a Delicious Dominicana and maybe 2 more sweet girls... however is the place where I had to pay more for a basic service. :?

Casa Blanca.. was one of my favorites.. used to go there after leaving the office.

Anyhow.. I think sex will "always"be kinda expensive in the night clubs.. therefore I rather Los Puteritos 8)
