Very minimal experience. I got a free sample...must have been from their website? I used a little bit on myself for a test. It was nice and warm   This was a long time ago though, sorry I can't help more.

I use prossage heat and tiger balm very often in my practice.When I use tiger balm, I use it more for deep tissue and trigger point work when the client has extremely tense muscles, but I don't use it all over (the back, for instance) as a massage oil.Prossage Heat seems to be more versitile for me, in that I can use it both as a massage oil (spot areas only, like back) and I can use it for any spot specific work that I do.  The fragrance is good, and it disipates after a while unlike other sports cremes and oils.Hope this helps you!Dana

I bought some a little while ago and haven't really noticed much from it.  I agree that it is something for localized spot use rather than an all over massage oil.  The info I read suggests it is good to use for myofascial work and deep tissue work.

Prossage Heat??????????

I've been using Prossage Heat since about August. I use it only in my deep tissue sessions, and only if I really need to 'warm up' the tissues more quickly than I can do myself. I've had success using it, and the clients seem to really like it. I usually use prossage, do my work on that area, then follow up with some Sombra. Yum!

I decided to use the prossage on a client today that I was doing deep tissue work on their scapula's and deep intrinsic muscles of the neck.  Before I applied it I explained what it was and that she might feel extra heat in the areas I applied it.  After the session I asked her if she noticed whether she felt the heating action and she said yes, especially during the deeper work.  She was going to apply Sombra to it when she got home.  Just wanted to share this info.

I phoned to request it on a Tues. and it arrived on a Thurs.  For a free dvd it has some good info.  I learned a whole carpal tunnel routine from it.  Of course, they use it to promote their products, but I expected that.  It was certainly worth a 45 second phone call!

Yeah, I have a sample of prossage and the DVD... though I have watched the DVD a couple times and found it interesting... I really haven't used the sample on a client yet.Now that the weather here in WI has decided to go back to being Spring-like rather than Summer-like... I might be able to convince a client or two to let me try it out on them. LOLStupid weather is in the mid 70s one day and then doesn't even hit 50 the whole rest of the week!  :

I recently received my free sample.  I was surprised at the teensy bottle of Prossage and all those generous samples of Biofreeze.  But now I realize that you need only a teensy bit of the Prossage to work and they are pushing the Biofreeze for home use.  The DVD was very interesting.  Yes, a few giggles too (thank you Erik Dalton).  I have used the Prossage on a few clients and I really like it.  I'm anxious to get a bigger bottle before I run out.

I was an am interested in being a dist.Since I could not find anything about how to get it I emailed them asking about the dist kit.  A box came with the DVD, mini prossage and many samples.  About a week later a LARGE box came with so many more samples and my practice name & number printed on the fliers.So, go to the website and jot them a note.

I called an 800# that dragon gave me (maybe he still has it).  I received the first box with all the samples and the DVD.  There was an order form in it to get a second box with samples that would have my clinic name printed on the flyers.The DVD gave me some ideas to incorporate into my sessions which I did this last Thursday and Friday.  I received a phone call Friday afternoon from a regular weekly client that I saw Thursday who told me that the new moves I did REALLY worked for her.  She was so happy she just had to call me to tell me how much better she was feeling.  I added the myofascial stretching w/prossage in at the beginning of the session (using just a few drops of the prossage to my hands, rubbing them together to activate it and proceeded with MFR techniques).  I could tell a huge difference between using the prossage and doing the MFR work without it.  Soooo, I like it much more now after viewing the DVD and seeing how the "Masters" all use it.
