I have the Athena which I love with the breast recesses in wood. I am using that at home since I can't carry it very well. It throws my left hip out.I purchased the lightweight table from Pisces ProNew Wave II LITETM and that works for me for traveling. It is very light. I now have 2 tables.Barbara ;D

outcall tables- Pisces Pro?

I am looking for my first massage table (portable) I am very interested in the Pisces Pro table for several reasons- I like the rounded corners, ease of changing the table fabric when needed, and it looks like it is very lightweight but can handle general massage.  I would be very interested in finding out more about your experiences with the Pisces Pro and what made you choose this one...there are SO MANY!  Thanks!Marcia

Dear Marcia,I bought a Pisces table about a year ago.I really like the table as it is incredibly light weight.  I especially like the webbing construction as it allows the table to have less foam without giving up the comfort as the webbing gives a little.  As far as the table being too narrow, I like the reduced width as it  improves my body mechanics by putting the client closer to me.  I even think that the table can fold flat if you wanted to do traditional shiatsu on it!The only thing that I do not like and have not been able to get used to yet is the face cradle adjustments.  I am used to the Earthlite face cradle  and the Pisces does not even come close!  The adjustments are very finite and I am constantly struggling to position my clients neck to my satisfaction.  Hope this information helps you with your decision.

Thanks, MassageMaven...great info.  Can you tell me if you have the Pisces Pro "I" face rest?  I just received their catalog and this one looks pretty adjustable.  It is great to get the info from someone who is actually using the equipment...Marcia

Hi Marcia,Yes, I just looked at the web site and I am using the 'I",  and "I" don't like it.  If you can get a close look at one there are two adjustments on cogs with teeth and a bar that moves into the teeth to secure it.  I am unhappy with the amount of adjustment the cradle makes when you move it into the next tooth up or down at either place.  I am considering buying the basic flat one or figuring out how to modify my table to accomodate the Earthlite face cradle - but the latter does not look too hopeful as the hole needs to be made bigger and it doesn't look like there is room to do it.Take care.
