IHM and Crystals

Hi guys

Does anyone give their clients crystals to hold or put around them, when having an indian head massage?

I thought it might be a nice idea. Anyone notice any difference when you do so?

Hi there.

Well Im not qualified in anything but am undertaking a course in ihm in sept. From a lay persons perspective, it is something I would definately hope to do. Think both would combine really well.

Probably best for those with more knowledge to answer this though.

I do IHM - but not professionally. I don't see why you couldn't give the clients crystals to hold gently in their hands, or place them around them to enhance their treatment.

Hi,
I've been doing IHM for approx 9 years and it was only on tuesday that I decided to offer palmstones with the treatment, and only because they had arrived in the post that day and wanted to try them out.

It worked very well and the 2 clients commented on how 'liquid' the palmstones (clear quartz) felt and one of them commented on how more vivid the chakra colours were.

I have also toyed with the idea of placing a large amethyst or rose quartz under the chair.

I have also given clients warm wheat bags to hold in the winter and they were very popular.

I think that the two would work very well together- providing the client was interested and accepting of crystals that is! (It might not be as approriate in a corporate setting as some people find it a bit wacky!)

I personally would think that a pair of Boji stones in each hand at the end of the treatment would work exceptionally nicely, considering they are very grounding.

I'm still training by practicing on colleagues at work on my day off.

I book a meeting room for the day and try to 'do it properly' by giving them set appointments, play music (Ibiza chillout music which seems very popular!) and I put about 4 crystals on the table in front of them.

Even though my colleagues are civil servants most seem quite open to the crystals and a number of colleagues/guinea pigs hold them.

It seems to work out ok, and I get good feedback from them.
