Also add to that, possibilities of depression, anxiety as possibilities. Has he lost interest in sex or anything else? It could be physical as well as mental, a very good friend of mine is a psychologist and I hit a bump a few years ago myself and sure enough, there were some unaddressed issues that were, well, unaddressed.
