No not really I been going to TJ since 95,96 so I don't think posting my every trip report is really important.{maybe to you it is but to me its not.}


To close I go almost 5 times a week now to TJ not just for sex but to work, so all I am been using is my COPY OF BC OR A DL{DL only STARTING DO THAT LAST FEW DAYS BECAUSE EVERYBODY IS STILL USING THERE DL}.

If you want to monger in the states that's your choice, everybody has their own personal preference. I will say again and stand behind it, you would be much better off going prepared and with a passport if you have one, as they didn't appear to be making jokes and slapping those who didnt have one on the back and passing them through!

I just returned and found it quite dofferent last Friday. When coming back I saw a group of 3 young guys getting taken out of line and told they had broken the law by traveling without a passport. I am sure that this was cleared up, but they darn sure weren't waving them thorugh. In fact on another line behind me there was a Mexican with a passport also being handcuffed - maybe they just weren't in a good mood so it was different that day - who knows.

I cameback today and I only used my DL.

Right now the only requirement you need is either a passport, or a driver license, and birth certificate. The birth certificate is suppose to be the orginal copy, but Killit and other guys are being pass through with only a copy of the BC, and have no trouble with the agents or getting sent to secondary.( there are some guys here and other forum, telling guys if you don't have your original copy of your passport you will be sent to secondary. I don't know why they are saying that, when clearly this isn't happening? What they shoudl be saying is you may be sent to secondary, which isn't that big of deal)

Regarding SGs on crack......I hightly doubt that, these girls are some of the best workers in Tijuana, and I would love to have some of these girls with for me if I ran a business......they don't seem to do drugs or even alcohol although I'm sure a few do.

Now bar girls are another, as many are into 'ice' and of course they drink alcohol, it's their job. But they don't seem addicted like the US street prostitutes, or even the walkers from the US and Mexico who hang out in the zona. BGs are more of the recreational drug user, but I have never had a BG ask me if I wanted to get high with them, like the US hookers ask.

I could get pussy to in the US for $100 dollars, mostly likely in the Inland Empire, as MPs still have a entrance fee of $40 dollars for 30 min, and if your really cheap if the Korean girls don't ask how much your going to pay them, you can give them $60, but now prices have gone up, with the average entrance fee around $50, and most girls will want at least $80 to $100.

In TJ the average MP fee for one hour would be around $130, $50 for the club, and $80 for the girl, but if you bargain, you can get it down to abotu $80 for everything, for 30 min, and of course SGs start at $20 dollars for 15 min.

Yes I would say that the new rules have hurt TJ business than anything else? There have always been reports of Tijuana being sort of a wild wild west, where anything goes, along with crime, and especially corrupt TJ cops out looking for a bribe. ( everybody knows your suppose to pay a bribe if stopped)

The wild wild west aspects to Tijuana also attracts people to Tijuana, for gambling, drugs, and debauchery.

I seriously doubt that a few surfers and Baja racers who seemed to get together warnings everybody to stay away from Tijuana, because a few of them got jacked, is going to have that big of an impact? I'm just shocked how fast the San Diego media, jumped on this, even when some of the reports were not backed up by police reports, just report on forums like this one.

Here is what I think. Some people are really really scare of Tijuana and the TJ cops, so they project their feelings in their postings to what they fear, the TJ cops, and that's why they make the claim, that corrupt TJ cops are the number one reason why tourism is down in Mexico, and especially Tijuana, when so many other factors are responsible for the drop if tourist trade, with some reasons having nothing to do with Mexico, like the home equity drying up in the states, and people having less money to blame.

But don't tell these people that, oh no, to them there is only one reason why the drop of tourism, and that of course is the corrupt TJ cop, and if Mexico doesn't control the corrupt TJ cop....then Mexico will always remain a 3rd world country.....they say.

what I tell them, is first of all, the drop in tourism isn't that bad over all in Mexico, it's only about 7% drop, and TJ cops aren't all over Mexico, just in Tijuana. When I go to Cabo San Lucas, I rarely even see a cop. There is a drop in tourism in Tijuana, but it's a problem of their own doing, and the stupid new law, not just the corrupt TJ cop, besides TJ cops rarely stop granny shopping for medicine on REVO St...drunk mongers are stopped because they are marginalized, they have money, are usually guilty of something like being drunk, and they won't cause a fuss, especially if they are married.

The truth is Revolution street is boring and nothing is really there, but pharmacies and rip off strip joints, and high priced places to eat where the food isn't that great.

No. The website says you need originals, not copies.

They are still in the "educational period." That means you may get through with just your DL--and a lecture about the new rules. Don't expect that to last forever.

It will be interesting to see what--if anything--the next administration does. Lots of people are opposed to the new rules and hence they may change after Bush leaves office.

I was going thourght today with my BC copy and one of the guards said that they will start letting you in with copy's of the BC in couple of months. Have anybody else heard about this?

Also they are still letting people in with there DL,there was a group of people who they just wave thourght.

Just went earlier this week...I had a copy of my BC and the officer said it was technically illegal to provide it like that. He was cool and let me go right thru, but next time i'll either take my original or renew my passport...

Like I get questioned what you were living in Saudi Arabia, Yes Sir, with the Eastern command. I talked to my friend and he told me he has or was going to apply for his passcard at the post office, as they are taking application for it now? I'll ask him again if he actually did it, and when the passcard is coming. They would know that doesn't make sense .. when you are in the military you don't need a passport .. your military id is all that is required along with whatever visa papers a country might require .. but no american passport is needed.

I had a similar expereince like Supergato too ! This was about 4 years ago at Ohare international after arriving from a flight from London. The immigration officer asked me "you have been to Mexico in the last 6 months", sounded like an accusation. I said yes, not volunteering any more information. I have learned my lessons with the IRS and INS (now DHS) not to volunteer too much unless specifically asked. But my passport also has various visas from "exotic" countries like the Middle-East ! So yes, they can ask you about your prior visits at Airport immigration and it can be in front of people accompanying you
