Two places full of tourists are.

Frink. Some bars are known as 'pulling bars' and they tend to be the 'better off' Czech girls. In these bars actually most of the girls speak very good English. The more local bars tend to be more of the younger czechs and English can be very basic. In saying that, Czech girls will talk to you, but dont expect to get your end away just because a girl is friendly. I can't even pick up girls at bars where I live, so I figure it won't be much different there. but it would be nice to talk to some friendly, cute Czech girls all the same. at these local bars, is English and very basic Czech (prosim, ano, etc.) or basic German enough to get by? my understanding is that young folks stand a better chance of speaking English, but not sure what this means in reality.

Just avoid the 'tourist' areas and you will have a much better night in the normal bars. On a weekend everything from Charles Bridge to Old Town Square to Wenceslas is full of Stag parties (drunk English) and tourists. Head to the clubs and bars just out of the centre and you will find some fantastic bars full of local girls.. However if you are here just as a tourist and you think you can pull a local girl, forget it, this is not the Prague of 10 years ago, the girls are not stupid and will not drop there knickers just because you have a few dollars in your pocket... I stayed at two different hotels, one in Prague 7, and one in Prague 10.

The one in Prague 7 was Capri, in Kamenicka Street in Holesovice. 5 mins to metro, and very escort friendly - reseption is only attended until 8pm, so.. Room was ok, especially bathroom/shower, which seemed quite new.

The second one was Slavia Hotel. 10 mins to Strasnicka metro. Very quiet area. Not the best standard though, but friendly staff. I liked it here. Escort friendly as well, I asked a reseptionist (when drunk), and "no problem", she said.

Sweet Paradise deserves some praise to. To be fair, I was only there early, and not when most girls actually are working, but I had a very good time there. The barlady was very helpful and has a lovely smile, and the prices are, as stated on website, very fair.

I didn't take notes during my stay, so this is all from memory, I'll probably add some more stuff here later.

Yes either Husinecka or Lipanska, it is between there.

Tram 5,9,26 will take you there. 55 and 58 are nighttrams.
If you come from the city Husinecka is the first stop after you have gone under the traintracks in a tunnel.
Also sit in front and on the right of the tram and read the sign on the tramstop.

WARNING.
They are working on tram number 5 between Botel Albatros and Namesty Republicy and the route after Namesty republicy is rerouted.
If you are staying at a hotel across the river near tram number 5 make sure you don't get lost going back from the clubs in the Zizkov area.
It means that number 5 don't go over Stefanikov most (brigde) but over Hlavkuv most .
Last time I was there it said the work was finished in september.
