Go Go Bars

Suzie Wong had decent well endowed girls but the light is too dim
Rock Hard was ok, but girls there (and generally in Phuket) werent good with lap dances or did not want to do them.

Clubs

Seduction Discotheque was a bit dead, less activity. OK place to go to if you want a less intense night... or want to dance with your girlfriends
Tiger is an awesome club with some great looking women.. mostly freelancers and where you can find women for a GFE. The bars under the discotheque also have some good women and activity going on.
Tai Pan: Seems like all the BGs go there after the night to be picked up. Overall did not like the women or the ambience. Tiger is a much nicer place.
Crocodile Club: The entrance to the Soi has some hot women dancing but they could be ladyboys. The club inside was not so good.

Activities

Combined white water rafting + ATV + elephant trekking + elephant show package. Island Safari Tours or something. The elephant show was OK but the rest was hogwash. Worst rafting experience ever.

Phi Phi Islands: Could not go to Maya Bay because of a storm but we had a great time on the boat to Phi Phi Islands because of the stormy weather. Monkey Beach etc is not a big deal and the meal they serve in the middle is just about edible. Snorkeling over there is OK, and the water is beautiful. With Maya beach on the schedule it would be much better but better to go on a cheaper trip with only Maya bay on the itinerary.

Driving

I have lived in India and the USA, and had no problems driving here. We rented a jeep and enjoyed using it.

Kata Karon beaches

Good for a quiet day. Good Waves. Water is a bit heavier and not that clean, but clean enough.

Restaurants

Paganini is a nice Italian place on a street one block north of Bangla Road
Zen had decent Sushi. Viva Mexico is no good.
The open bar near Molly Malone was well placed with decent drinks but very rude bartenders. Open bar serves good Mojitos and Coconut drinks.
Molly Malone is kinda boring at night, but is a decent hangout during the day. Potato Wedges are really good.
The food and fruit by vendors on the road are pretty good. Excellent coconut water.

Traditional Massage

O.P. Thai massage is located on the lane that approaches Royal Paradise Hotel (near Tai Pan). Good and reasonably priced. Don't think you could get happy endings there, but I was not in the mood then.

Wanida Massage is decent too, but I've once had a bad masseuse there. They may give you happy endings if desired. I had spoken to a lady there about coming back the next day and giving her a naked massage and then a happy ending (no sex), but never went back.

Let's Relax on the beach road is famous but a bit pricey and you need to go with an appointment coz they're often full

Late night food: Dubai is good food, and the hookah is a great way to unwind after a long day.

In reference to your comment about lap dances at Rock Hard that is a classic! I am not sure if Thai girls even know what a lap dance is. But I am sure if you asked any of them to wriggle around and tease you fully clothed for 30 Min's and you will give them 2000 Baht they would Jump at the offer!! You would have to give the money up front though because they may wonder why any man would pay for that. And frankly why do guys in the west pay for that crap??

That seemed to be the case most places I went but there was one really cool girl at the Roxy while I was there who gave a great lap dance. Didn't even ask for it, but I certainly wasn't going to complain once she started.

And as for why pay for that stuff. Well, I wanted to just hang out at the club and enjoy the atmosphere there. The trip wasn't really about picking up girls or barfining or any of that stuff. I was mainly just hanging out with my brother who I don't see very often. So we just wanted to relax there, and tipping (generously, but not 2000 baht!) the best looking dancer there to stay by us and do a lapdance or two was just fun. Wasn't really looking for much more than that.
