I think it is a supply issue, but vaccines are coming. We are a rich country, but population-wise a small one, so we do not have the leverage the US has. Politically, to be honest I did not expect much from Doug Ford, but he is not quite the disaster I thought he would be. I give him and Trudeau "B" grades.

I don't think that Ford has gone into any drunken stupers since he was elected.

Fully recovered. It took probably a full month before I was back to normal. Others have not been so lucky, there are many who have had serious long term effects

It's your body, your choice so arguing over the efficacy and safety (or lack thereof) is pointless. I've heard both sides of the argument and they're all valid. I have the luxury of being the last in line to take it so I have all the time in the world to weigh the pros and cons.

Right now, I'm leaning towards taking it. Maybe it'll kill me. Maybe it won't. I've already lost over a year of my life and watched people I care about lose so much more. If the vaccine kills me, all it really would've done is put me out of my misery. If it doesn't, all the much better because I'm not doing this out of fear of the virus or to save other lives. I'm doing it for the same reason another member on this forum said he did it for and that's quality of life. Getting back to normal and living in a fully functional society is my only incentive and hopefully the risk of inoculation ends up being the ticket to freedom.

I used to never take the flu shot. Then I had 2 bouts of the flu that really knocked my on my ass. First one was my university days when I though I was invincible and second was I several years back when I was a little older. Since that second bout, I’ve always got my flu shot every year like clockwork. Some years I never got the flu at all and the years when I did get the flu it was mild.

While this is not the flu and a different virus I’m applying that same logic with Covid and this vaccine. I’m not expecting the vaccine to prevent me from getting Covid, since it mutates, but I am expecting the vaccine to reduce the severity of Covid if I do get it so that it keeps me out of the hospital or the morgue.

At my workplace we work with 20 to 30 different people every day. I was extremely sick in January of 2020 for 3 days, then went back after a few more. Since then I have had no symptoms or sickness and neither have any of my friends or family.

I never got the flu shot and never had any reason to. My immune system is very strong and on average get sick once or twice every 5 years. I just don't see any positives in taking a flu shot for something that effects 2% or less in death. Especially when you still have to follow the same restrictions either way.
